booking process
Step 1
This is the simple part...this is where you get in touch and let me know you are keen on booking me to walk beside you on special day. Reach out and I'll pop you my Wedding Guide for you to have a look through to get the full low down.
Step 2
This is the part where you tell me to go ahead and send through the contract and invoice, and I do a literal happy dance whilst sending you the "Let's get you Married" PDF.
You'll have a read through the contract, sign it, and return it to me.
You then have 1 week to settle the retainer.
Step 3
Once you have your signed contract and paid the retainer your date is locked in my calendar and the admin side of it is officially over.
I'll be on the end of an email or WhatsApp for any questions you might have leading up to the day and depending on how far away your wedding day is, I will start chatting to you about timelines for the day. Don't stress, I have an awesome timeline template to help you out and I guide you every step of the way.
FAQ
How far in advance should I book?
Weddings fill up really fast, so I suggest as soon as you've put a ring on it - reach out for more info and as soon as you have a date, get it locked in. Nothing upsets me more than having to turn a bride away because I am booked up.
Do you use a second shooter?
Yes, I do. For my complete package. This is not because I'm scared I will miss a shot, fret not.
It simply means that on the day there will be two of us, capturing the day from different angles - giving you a more varied coverage of the day. It also does take some pressure off me and means that I can get a little more time to be creative throughout the day. It is included in all 10 hour packages but also an optional added extra on all packages. In my opinion, it is SO, so worth it.
Do you require accommodation?
This all depends on the distance of the venue from my home (Kloof, KZN) as well as the time in which my coverage of the day will end. If possible, I will always opt to travel home, but safety (especially at night and carrying valuable gear and content) needs to be taken into consideration. So this is something we can work out once we chat. Somewhere clean and safe and close to the reception is ideal.
Do you offer wedding albums?
Yes, and they are GORGEOUS and so LUXURIOUS.
In an attempt to keep my prices down, I have set them as an optional extra. You have up to a year after your wedding to add one on to your package, so if it's something you change your mind or or would like time to save to add on - that's an option. It's also a fabulous gift idea to add to your registry.

Which package should I choose?
This depends solely on you and the kind of wedding you will be having and how much you would like covered. I personally find 9 hours to be the sweet spot.
Can I add on hours?
Most definitely, yes. If you know you are likely going to want more time beforehand, let me know. Otherwise on the day it's something we can chat about too...
