Hi friends, I’m Kelly — and I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m a photographer, storyteller, and professional happy-tear-shedder based in Kloof, KZN. I’m obsessed with capturing the real stuff: love, laughter, and all the beautifully messy in-betweens that make life what it is.

Meet My Crew

First things first — I’m a mom to two teenage boys who are my absolute world. They both tower over me now, but let’s be honest… I still like to think I’m in charge.

Some days I still can’t believe they’re mine — I sure don’t feel old enough to have teenagers — but here we are, and I wouldn’t trade it for anything.

We share our home with 6 cats, 2 doggos, and our amazing helper, Bongi, who’s like a second mom to my boys. At the start of this year, her granddaughter — a loud, sassy, totally loveable two-year-old — also became part of our little tribe. She’s got us wrapped around her tiny finger, and watching her grow has been the most unexpected blessing.

Our house? It’s the perfect blend of calm, chaos, cuddles, and a whole lot of love. Nothing ever really goes according to plan, but honestly — we wouldn’t have it any other way.

Behind the Camera

Here’s the thing: I’m much more comfortable behind the camera than in front of it. So if you’re feeling a little awkward about photos, I get it — and I’ve totally got you.

There will be no stiff poses or uncomfortable silences with me. Instead, I’ll guide you, prompt you, and keep things fun and relaxed so you can just be you. Half the time you won’t even realize I’m shooting — and that’s when the real magic happens.

My Promise to You

When you book a shoot with me, I want you to feel comfortable, seen, and free to let go of “perfect.” Even if it feels a little chaotic in the moment, I promise you it will be beautiful chaos.

And if you hear me gasp or shriek mid-shoot, don’t worry — I haven’t lost the plot! It just means I’ve spotted something magical: the way the light is hitting, the way your child looked at you, or one of those blink-and-you’ll-miss-it moments of connection. That’s the stuff I live for.
